If news concerning the marital squabbles of famous gospel singer cum legislator Judith Babirye is anything to go by, then her co-wife Lukia Ntale must be in jubilation.
Reports reaching us from Boston USA, indicate that Babirye is alone and frightened in Toronto where she is currently hibernating, after estranging from her marital home in Naalya two months ago.
Snoops intimate that Babirye and hubby Paul Musoke Ssebulime, the Member of Parliament for Buikwe North constituency, have been battling some squabbles at their Naalya home which forced her to run out of the country to USA, in the bid to cool off from the domestic quarrels.
It is said that the couple got involved in counter accusations that later attracted the attention of authorities due to threats on each other’s life.
Insiders reveal that Babirye reported various cases at police and an attempt on her life, something that forced her to seek refuge in USA so that she could avoid media attention and public criticism.
It is revealed that their feud started after Babirye was attacked on numerous occasions by some mysterious women who are allegedly said to be too close for comfort with Ssebulime.
It was later disclosed that Ssebulime had links with the mysterious women, which caused wars between him and Babirye, hence her estranging from him.
Snoops say that by the time Babirye left the country she had wounds sustained from the domestic fights.
We have learnt that Babirye has been reclusive since she doesn’t want the story to leak to the media because it will damage her reputation.
It should be noted that Babirye secretly introduced Sebulime, a flight captain, at secret, heavily guarded ceremony.
But Sebulime is said to have had a relationship with Ntale for more than eight years in which they produced three children before breaking up with her.
