Bebe Cool is preparing to turn up the volume on Uganda’s entertainment scene once again.
After months in which political campaigns and national debates dominated headlines, the Gagamel boss has announced a brand-new EP titled No Risk, set for release on Friday, June 12, 2026.
The announcement, made through his social media platforms, immediately sent fans into celebration mode, with many already counting down the days until the highly anticipated project lands on streaming platforms.
While the award-winning musician has kept details about the EP closely guarded, refusing to reveal the tracklist or any featured artists, the announcement alone has been enough to generate excitement across Uganda’s music circles.
For many music lovers, No Risk could not have arrived at a better time.
The first half of 2026 has largely been overshadowed by the country’s political season, with election-related conversations dominating public discourse and leaving Uganda’s entertainment industry relatively subdued. Major releases have been few and far between, creating a noticeable lull in the music scene.
Now, fans believe Bebe Cool may be the artist to reignite the industry.
The self-styled “Big Size” enters the new project on the back of the successful Break The Chains album, which was released on May 30 last year and went on to become one of the most talked-about Ugandan albums in recent memory.
The album earned widespread praise for its polished production and bold fusion of Afro-electronic, Afrotech, and Afro-pop sounds, proving once again why Bebe Cool remains one of the most influential artists on the continent.
Its commercial success further cemented his status as one of Uganda’s most bankable musical exports, with songs from the project enjoying strong streaming numbers both locally and internationally.
Throughout his career, Bebe Cool has built a reputation for strategic releases and an ability to create cultural moments around his music. Whether through bold messaging, innovative soundscapes, or carefully crafted marketing campaigns, the veteran musician rarely releases music without making an impact.
The title No Risk has already sparked speculation among fans, with many wondering whether the project will carry themes of confidence, resilience, ambition, or a reflection of his journey in Uganda’s ever-changing entertainment landscape.
One thing is certain: with the release date now officially confirmed, June 12 is shaping up to be one of the biggest moments on Uganda’s entertainment calendar this year. Upon release, No Risk will be available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Boomplay, and YouTube Music.
