The seven-track EP dropped on Friday, June 12, and is already generating excitement among fans who have been eagerly waiting for new music from the self-proclaimed King of the Ugandan Music Industry.
Coming exactly one year and two weeks after Break The Chains, No Risk sees the Gagamel boss continue exploring modern African sounds while staying true to the musical identity that has made him one of Uganda’s most influential artists.
The project blends Afrobeat, Dancehall, Reggaeton and R&B, creating a vibrant listening experience packed with life lessons, romance, motivation and party energy.
Speaking about the project, Bebe Cool described No Risk as “a journey through life, love and focus, with zero regrets.”
The EP kicks off with Kakebere, a hard-hitting Dancehall anthem that encourages people to verify information before making decisions, whether in matters of health, land ownership or leadership.
On Bundle, Bebe Cool switches gears and celebrates financial freedom, urging listeners to work hard, enjoy the fruits of their labour and ignore negativity from those who do not share their vision.
Party lovers will find a favourite in Shekete, a high-energy Reggaeton-inspired track that invites women to embrace confidence and own the dancefloor.
The mood then shifts with Kiss And Make Up, a song that explores the realities of relationships and the importance of forgiveness, understanding and commitment.
For those who appreciate nostalgic vibes, Melodies offers a refreshing blend of childhood memories and grown-up romance, delivered over a distinctly Ugandan groove.
On Target, Bebe Cool focuses on determination and discipline, comparing success to a sniper’s precision where every move is calculated and distractions are eliminated.
The EP concludes with Joromai, a sweet Afrobeat record dedicated to a woman whose beauty, presence and energy bring happiness and comfort.
