The first ever all embracing cultural festival in the United States of America dubbed ‘ BantuFest’ Our Culture, Our Pride , will be held this weekend with lots of glitz and glamour.
The event which is the brain child of singer Saava Karim Nsubuga will be headlined by several top Ugandan musicians and artistes who include the Lugaflow king GNL Zamba, Gen. Mega Dee, Faridah Kuteesa an award winning actress who doubles as the events manager and vice president among several others.
The event whose theme is ‘’Let’s embrace a culture promoting event that brings people of all walks of life together through Creative and Performing Arts’’, will feature cultural niceties from all the regions of Uganda, while embracing other cultures vested in peoples across the world.
The annual event, boasts of becoming one of the most sought after meeting and networking rendezvous for people who are interested in cultural that live in the Diaspora.
Some of the other acts expected to perform on the night include ; Kabukuru Family (Western Uganda),Ruhi Hak ( India),LOSKACHE band (mixed South and North America),Roberto Tejada and Eva( Mexico),MC Allan Kayanja.
This will be the very first time for GNL Zamba, Gen Mega Dee, Faridah Kuteesa and Saava Karim Nsubuga to share the same stage in 2018
The fest will take place at ‘The Auditorium 1455 BURBANK BLVD NORTH HOLLYWOOD CA 91601 and will be free of charge.
