In the past few days, At least three babies died due to lack of oxygen at Kawempe Referral Hospital.

Kawempe Referral Hospital is currently hosting Mulago National Referral Hospital’s obstetrics and gynaecology department.

“I am enraged that two tiny babies died because of dictator Museveni’s bad governance. I am outraged that even though this mother survived dying while giving birth in a public health facility, her babies died because there was insufficient oxygen stored in the hospital,” says Nyanzi in a Facebook post before adding that; “

“I am appalled that there is no respite for the poor in Uganda, who must go to under-stocked public hospitals to die preventable deaths.

“I am mad with anger, pain and disillusionment that the hospital authorities think it is okay to explain away this dangerous stock-out of oxygen with lame excuses of the distance between Mulago and Kawempe.

“Jesus Christ, it is not rocket science that any health facility delivering babies needs ample stocks of oxygen on site 24/7!”

Below is Stella Nyanzi’s full post

Magdalene Namakula, who is fifty-nine years old, carried a multiple pregnancy with triplets to Mulago Hospital.

She successfully gave birth to each of these three baby human beings. Hallelujah! Bweza bwa Mukasa! And then the babies needed oxygen.

The whole of this national referral and teaching hospital had insufficient oxygen in storage for three little babies.

The babies were forced to share. One baby died. A second baby died. The third baby lived. Magdalene is inconsolable.

I am enraged that two tiny babies died because of dictator Museveni’s bad governance. I am outraged that even though this mother survived dying while giving birth in a public health facility, her babies died because there was insufficient oxygen stored in the hospital.

Jesus Christ, it is not rocket science that any health facility delivering babies needs ample stocks of oxygen on site 24/7!

As a mother of one daughter and twin sons – all of whom were born through caeserean section -I am heartbroken by this fucked up fuckery of the government.

The failures of the government of Uganda fucked these triplets to death! The laxities and excesses of dictator Museveni’s Ministry of Health fucked these triplets to death.

The oversights and negligences of dictator Museveni’s Ministry of Finance and Planning fucked up these triplets.

The laisez faire approach of public servants underpaid by Museveni’s Ministry of Public Service fucked two of the triplets to death! Museveni murdered Magdalene’s triplets.

Museveni is a murderous witch who kills baby Ugandans within hours of their birth.
