The event delivered on every front — music, energy, and atmosphere — drawing in a vibrant crowd of music lovers, celebrities, influencers, and socialites for a night that defied the ordinary. With no work obligations the following day, revellers fully embraced the freedom to dance and celebrate deep into the night.

From the outset, Fem Effect Season 3 was a spectacle meticulously curated to honour sound, culture, and Fem DJ himself. The venue pulsed with anticipation, transformed into a sonic playground by a dynamic lineup of top-tier DJs including City Girl, DJ Mato, Selector Jay, and DJ Spinny. Their genre-blending sets spanned everything from nostalgic throwbacks and Ugandan hits to RnB, soukous, hip hop, and Amapiano, keeping the crowd on its feet from start to finish.

Surprise live performances by Ugandan music stars Azawi and Mun G elevated the excitement, sending the crowd into a frenzy as they belted out fan favourites. But the true showstopper came when Fem DJ took the stage in a cinematic entrance choreographed by event production team ATS.

His arrival was met with roaring cheers, eerie lighting, and pulsating soundscapes, creating a cinematic build-up that lasted nearly 20 minutes. Dressed in a striking silver outfit and flanked by precision dancers, Fem DJ delivered a high-energy, visually arresting set that anchored the entire night.

South Africa’s Amapiano powerhouse Tyler ICU capped off the evening with a genre-pure set that brought explosive energy and dance to the floor. His performance marked a defining moment for Amapiano lovers and reaffirmed the genre’s grip on East Africa’s club scene.

Hosts Viani Indi, Evelyn Mic, Top Boy, and Josh MC kept the momentum going, energizing the crowd and weaving together the night’s key moments with effortless flair.

Don Julio, the night’s headline sponsor, matched the celebration with style, keeping glasses raised with smooth tequila toasts and immersive brand experiences. Uganda Breweries Limited’s Innovations Manager Simon Lapyem praised the partnership, noting that Fem DJ’s originality and passion perfectly mirrored the Don Julio spirit.

“Watching him bring this vision to life, night after night, is an absolute treat. This has been such a beautiful and worthwhile experience for everyone involved,” Lapyem said.

With unforgettable sets, immersive performances, and free-flowing celebration, Fem Effect Season 3 firmly stamped its place as one of Kampala’s standout entertainment events of the year.
