We can reliably confirm that Kampala’s marketing and PR honcho Amon Baita after beating a number of applicants in a series of interviews emerged the best candidate for the Job of head of marketing, Public Relations and Activations at the Ruparelia Groups’ Premier recruitment Ltd.

Baita who could not hide his excitement posted a cut out of his offer letter on all his social media statuses saying ‘’Ya’ll can now wish me a successful and impactful stay at my new job address as in charge of marketing, PR & Activations”, Let’s do this!

Baita who is a degree graduate of Mass communication from KIU brings to Premier recruitment with over 10 years’ experience in Sales and media marketing (Advertising and Public relations ) having worked at the legendary tabloid the Red Pepper in various capacities first as a reporter shortly after his  campus in 2011, a sales agent in the advertising department and later a section sales manager (SMES) before calling it quits in 2017 to focus on career development as a Public relations’ consultant and private business.

He with former colleagues from Namanve immediately started an online business newspaper www.businessfocus.co.ug under Spotlight Publications which has since become a house hold name in business niche reporting.

Baita has since used Spotlight publications company to do PR and Marketing consultancy for various companies in town notably of them being Muyenga based Middle East Consultants that deals in Labour Export

He late last year headlined the launch of a new annual event dubbed “Social media festival” as head of marketing that had been introduced under Spotlight publications that took place at Silver Springs Hotel in Bugolobi and saw a huge number of big brands like Tusker Light, UCC, Ruparelia Group, Next Media, Infinix, NITA-U among others coming to sponsor a first time event that turned up a success.

Baita is also known for being involved in farming projects in Nakasongola, Mubende and Kyangwari under “Ukulima Cooperative society’’ that is attached to Ministry of Défense.

Premier Recruitment Company is a human resource consultancy firm under Rupaleria Group that deals in both internal and external recruitment and we are told the Director Rajiv Rupaleria has tasked Amon to recruit and increase numbers of candidates in external wing and company visibility across the country.

Close sources to Crane chambers who could not disclose Baita’s expected pay cheque told us that he was hired along with Rehema Nakiryowa as an Agents’ manager  in charge of building agents structure country wide having previously worked in sales of banking and insurance from Exim bank and ICEA Insurance company respectively and commands good knowledge of agents system .

All we can guess is the duo’s pay cheque must be hefty for the fact that it’s under Rupaleria Group and we can only say that Sky is the Limit and wish both the best stay at Premier Recruitment.
