Miss Uganda Qualifies to Top 40 of Miss World’s ‘Top Model’ Segment

Miss Uganda 2019, Oliver Nakakande who is currently at the Miss World competition in England has announced that she made it to the Top 40 in the pageant’s “top model” segment.

The announcement was made on her Instagram account.

She expressed her honour of representing Uganda at the Miss World Finale on December 14, 2019 in London.

“UGANDA has just made it to @MissWorld TOP MODEL (Top 40). I CAN’T KEEP CALM. God Is The Greatest,” she wrote.

She said that Miss World is a big platform for meeting all categories of people with different cultures, languages among others.

“The Most Beautiful Fact about @MissWorld is that we get to meet beauties from around the world, learn about different cultures, languages and most importantly share our beauty with a purpose projects,” she explained.

She further noted: “most of them connect in one way or the other and that makes it even easier to come up with a solution strategy. I just got to realize that the world is facing similar challenges, from Africa to Asia to the Americas, Australia and Europe,” she noted.
