Fine Boy Kera Sues TBWA Uganda For Failure To Pay

1 Mins read

Today evening, social media influencer Kwizera Laban Mackinnon aka Fine Boy Kera has released an intent to sue TBWA Uganda over failure to pay him.

Kera was hired by TBWA to influence and hype Club Beatz At Home, a show that premiered on the Club Pilsener Facebook and Youtube pages in April.

The show was very popular and it had the likes of Irene Ntale, Apass, Chameleon, Lydia Jazmine and so many other artists performing.

According to Kera, he did his part but the agency hasn’t come through with his payment as they had agreed.

It has been over 4 months since the agreed upon show ended and Kera has not received his payment.

He has given TBWA an ultimatum of 7 days or they end up paying him Ugx 20,786,700 and Ugx 5,000,000 as a legal fee for his counsel.

This week many influencers on Twitter have been ranting about how people hire them to do work and never pay them after.

Club Beatz At Home was yet to premier its third season this weekend featuring Sheebah.

According to Kera, his intent to sue might come as a wake up call to all agencies, companies, individuals who hire influencers promise them money and then disappear into thin air with their money.
