Today, the ministry of health has today confirmed 8 more cases of Coronavirus in Uganda.
Six of the cases out of 2,061 samples are from truck drivers.
Two cases are from the community and were obtained from the Rapid Assessment Survey.
One community case is of a resident of Kyotera District while the other is a Ugandan truck driver from Mutukula.
Uganda has so far registered 97 cases of COVID – 19.
On a better note, three patients were today discharged after they completely healed from COVID – 19.
“3 patients have recovered from COVID-19, tested negative twice for the disease at an interval of 24 hours and been discharged from Entebbe Grade B Hospital, this afternoon. The total number of COVID-19 recoveries in Uganda is now 55,” tweeted the Ministry of Health today.
