FULL JUDGEMENT!! Tears As Gashumba Loses Battle Of Ownership Of Omalako Jajja Tova Ku Main Slogan

The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) has delivered its decision in a case where three individuals were claiming ownership of the ‘Omalako Jajja Tova Ku Main’ political slogan.

The slogan was claimed by Frank Gashumba, Lwengo District LC V Chairperson, and the NRM Youth League Vice President, Ibrahim Kitatta, along with Hadija Namyalo Uzeiye, the head of the Office of the NRM Chairperson who has emerged victor.

After listening to all the submissions, Denis Burungi, the Assistant Registrar of Copyright noted that, Gashumba is not the author and cannot apply for registration of the disputed slogan.
