Western region popular radio presenter, Bernards Tumuhimbise famously known by his studio name Kazimoto is dead.
It is said Kazimoto committed suicide by hanging himself.
He hanged hanged himself from Minister Frank Tumwebaze’s farm in Kibaale, Kamwenge district.
It is worth noting that, by the time of his death, Kazimoto was working with Nyumbani FM 106.2 that belongs to the Minister of Gender Labour and Social Development, Frank Tumwebaze.
By the time of filing the story, Minister Tumwebaze had not responded to our messages regarding this issue.
Kazimoto was a popular radio presenter with a great voice and worked on radio stations like Rwenzori FM, WEBS FM Endigyito, Voice of Kamwenge and many more.
While at Nyumbani FM, he has been co-presenting the Evening Program “Omusharuro” form Monday to Friday every 6PM to 10PM.
It is not clear why Kazimoto killed himself but close friends have revealed that ever since his wife died a few years ago, Kazimoto has never been the same again.

I am saddened by the sad news of the passing away of Comrade Kazi Moto. I will personally miss him alot. I will always remember his good voice, characteristic style of presenting on radio, his friendliness, good grasp of the local politics and his role during the time I was a parliamentary candidate for Ibanda South in 2011. I found him very balanced, objective and accommodative to divergent political views. I will personally miss him alot. May His Soul RIP!
