Bobi Wine Does Not Own People Power — Kato Lubwama

Rubaga South Member of Parliament, Hon Kato Lubwama has said that Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine doesn’t not own People Power because he is just a member like any other Ugandan because he found the slogan in existence.

“Bobi Wine is a member of People Power like any other member, how did this People Power that is in the lips of every Ugandan began? It started with red ribbon in parliament, but now Bobi Wine wants to own it,” he said.

He made the remarks while speaking to Uganda Mirror on Tuesday in Kampala.

He said Bobi Wine’s actions indicate as if he is the initiator of the pressure group which is not true.

Kato Lubwama said that he doesn’t regret being a member of this political pressure group noting that Power belongs to the people.

He further warned artists who are full of staging unnecessary stands which destroy the image of entertainment industry.

“The biggest problem we are facing in this generation is that some of our artists don’t want to release new hit songs, so failure to release good songs, some of them try to come out with stupid acts,” he said.

He also blamed Ugandans for supporting these musicians who came out with unnecessary stands.

“The issues that these Ugandans love stands than music, that’s is the unfortunate thing in this entertainment industry.”
