On Sunday, comedian and sports referee, George Mulindwa commonly known as Afande Kerekere came out and told the world that he is gay as regards to a picture(s) that circulated on social media shocking many of his fans and well wishers.
This really came as a shock as for many years, Kerekere has graced out TV sets and the pitch making it all look funny and worthy of anyone’s time. It is also purported that this small secret of his is what got him fired from Bukedde TV, and a radio station.
However, we have seen this act before among very many people especially celebrities when their careers start going down the drain and they want a quick lift from this country.
Many people come out and claim that they are gay or LGBT only because they are interested in quick sympathy and a Visa out of Uganda since the Western world views Uganda as an inhabitable place for minorities like the LGBTQI, which also explains the growing number of organizations supporting the same.
It should be remembered that Kerekere has two children with wife or rather now ‘former wife’, Shadia Mulindwa.
Over the years, Kerekere has been masculine and our snoops have revealed to us that the man is renowned for being fast and quick when women are in the vicinity, which begs the question, does Afande Kerekere simply want a Visa?
