Balaam’s Afrigo Show Flops, Linked to People Power Mock

1 Mins read

Some months back renowned City event organizer Balaam Barugahare had promised to hung up his boots from active participation in music concerts to focus on the next presidential elections events.

So, the promoter has turned away most musicians who have been frequenting him to organize their concerts.

However, last weekend he got a shock of his life after his music concert he had organized at Munyonyo based Jahazi Pier flopped badly.

Snoops reveal that Balaam had organized the show featuring the legend Afrigo band and reggae star Maddox Sematimba but the show failed to attract revellers.

Sources reveal that by around 11pm there were about 20 people who actually had entered using complimentary tickets.

It is alleged that around 11:30 pm, they wanted people to enter for free when the occasion was declared a free event but there were nowhere to get them except a few Boda boda riders who were at the stage minding their businesses.

It is said that the flop is linked his alleged constant attack of the People Power sympathizers.

Snoops intimate that Balaam is in a huge loss because he injected money in promoting the concert and paid off the artistes and he never got back his money.

Insiders say that this is the second event he is making huge losses after the public boycotted his annual UG Mix end of year party that was held at Sheraton Hotel.

It was one of the biggest flops of 2018 following a boycott by the public.
