Friends of Stella Nyanzi and other activists have threatened to camp at Makerere University in ten days.
A group of youths under their Umbrella friends of Nyanzi and other activists in a theme dubbed ‘Women Lives’ have threatened to camp at Makerere university in ten days if the University Council fails to re-open her office.
The youths who were at Amazing Grace hotel in Wandegeya on 17th December 2018 said denying Stella Nyanzi access to the office as the University tribunal ordered is part of the reasons why she went ahead to abuse people including president Museveni while fighting for her labour rights.
The group that is led by Habibi Buwembo said that they could not wait to see when Nyanzi’s children are starving while she is in jail and cannot work for herfamily.
“We shall continue fighting for Dr Stella Nyanzi’s rights without fear and we call upon all people to join our course,” Habib said
The group came along with some food stuff and basic needs to help Nyanzi’s children that were taken to her lawyer’s office.
They have given government an ultimatum of 10 days to release Dr Stella Nyanzi.
Dr Stella Nyanzi was arrested and detained on allegations of abusing president Museveni and his deceased mother.
