Botswana envoy commends President Museveni on African integration

President Yoweri Museveni has received the outgoing Botswana High Commissioner to Uganda, Mr. John Moreno, who paid a courtesy call on at State House, Entebbe today to take leave of him following the envoy’s conclusion of 5-year tour of duties in the country.

High Commissioner Moreno commended President Museveni’s efforts towards the integration of Africa saying, “Africans need to promote own spectacle that the leaders have created and promote continental integration.”

The envoy also called for continued cooperation between Uganda and Botswana in the sector of agriculture, especially livestock disease control and the private sector of the two countries.

High Commissioner Moreno thanked President Museveni for the opportunity to represent Botswana in Uganda for the past five years.

President Museveni wished him success in his next assignment
