MTN Uganda has officially unveiled its sponsorship of Navio’s upcoming “Navio Live in Orchestra” concert, set to take place later this year. The announcement was made during a press conference at MTN Uganda’s headquarters, attended by Navio, music industry stakeholders, and MTN officials.

This partnership builds on more than a decade of collaboration between Navio and MTN. The rapper has previously worked with the brand as ambassador for the MTN Smart Series in 2016, promoted his music through MTN CallerTunez and digital platforms, and performed at MTN-sponsored events such as the Hip Hop Awards and the Full Moon Party. He has also participated in campaigns like Pulse Rap Battles and MTN MoMo engagements. The ongoing relationship reflects MTN’s commitment to nurturing Ugandan talent and supporting the country’s cultural growth.

The “Navio Concert: The Orchestra Experience” will be a groundbreaking event—the first in Uganda to merge Hip Hop with orchestral music—promising an unforgettable celebration of creativity and culture. MTN reaffirmed its dedication to the music industry by backing the show, emphasizing that “together, our music is unstoppable.”

Speaking at the launch, John Paul Okwi, MTN Uganda’s Events and Sponsorships Manager, said: “MTN Uganda has always stood with artists who inspire communities. Navio is a legend in Ugandan music, and this concert represents the bold evolution of our industry. As the country’s number one supporter of music, we’re proud to give fans access to a night that will redefine live performance in Uganda.”

Navio, in his remarks, expressed appreciation to MTN for its continued support, noting that the concert marks a major milestone: “After nine concerts, we wanted the tenth to be something truly different. This will be my first concert at Serena and the first time an urban artist performs with an orchestra. I thank MTN Uganda and everyone who has shared in this vision.”

Tickets are available via MTN MoMo, with early bird tickets going for UGX 130,000, standard tickets at UGX 150,000, VIP at UGX 3,000,000, VVIP at UGX 5,000,000, and Platinum packages at UGX 10,000,000. Fans can purchase tickets seamlessly through the MTN MoMo App or select outlets.

MTN Uganda invites music enthusiasts to join this historic evening with Navio—an event set to fuse genres and showcase the unstoppable spirit of Ugandan music.
