The Speaker of Parliament, Anita Annet Among, has conveyed heartfelt condolences from President Kaguta Museveni and First Lady Janet Museveni to the family of the late Rajiv Ruparelia, praising the fallen businessman for his significant contributions to Uganda’s development.

Speaking at a memorial service attended by a large crowd, Speaker Among described Ruparelia’s death as a tragic loss, noting the deep outpouring of grief as a reflection of the profound impact he had on many lives.

“Although his life was tragically cut short, Rajiv lived fully and left a lasting legacy for many to emulate,” she said.

Ruparelia, a prominent businessman and philanthropist, was lauded for his extensive investments across the country and his unwavering support for education, charity, and sports.
