Kampala, Uganda – Uganda is set to take center stage on the global entertainment map as the Presidential Advisory Committee on Exports and Industrial Development (PACEID) partners with Hollywood producer JoJo Ryder and Ryder Media to produce a major docuseries highlighting the country’s rich history, cultural heritage, and economic transformation.

The initiative, backed by the Private Office of Chief Nana Dakrabo I, aims to position Uganda as a premier destination for film production, tourism, and investment.

The partnership aligns with President Yoweri Museveni’s vision to expand Uganda’s economy through exports, including the creative industry.

“Uganda is on an unprecedented path of growth and development, and it is essential that the world sees the incredible opportunities and progress our nation is making,” said PACEID Chairman Odrek Rwabwogo. “This collaboration is more than just producing movies—it is a foundation of a global movement to elevate Uganda’s presence in international markets.”

Leading the project is Hollywood creator and executive producer JoJo Ryder, known for high-profile productions featuring stars like Zendaya, Kevin Hart, and Adrien Brody.

Ryder and his team recently visited Uganda, engaging with key figures and capturing the country’s vibrant energy and scenic beauty.

“Our trip to Uganda was truly eye-opening. The people, the culture, and the vast economic potential make it a story that must be told on the global stage,” said Ryder. “Uganda is ready to make its mark in global media and entertainment.”

The partnership, championed by Chief Nana Dakrabo I and Uganda’s Trade Representative in the U.S., Dr. Olivier Kamanzi, is expected to establish Uganda as a major player in the global film industry.

With filming set to begin, this initiative marks a defining moment for Uganda, promising economic opportunities, international exposure, and a new era for its creative economy.
