Forum For Democratic Change Secretary General, Nathan Nandala Mafabi has dropped Hon Ssemujju Nganda as the party Chief Whip.
“In accordance with section 61 (1), the Party hereby appoints Hon. Yusuf Nsibambi as the Party Whip of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) to replace Hon Ssemujju Ibrahim Nganda.
“In the same vein, we hereby withdraw Hon. Ssemujju Ibrahim Nganda as the Party Whip with immediate effect,” reads the letter addressed to the Speaker of Parliament dated 07/08/2023.
Hon Ssemujju Ibrahim Nganda axing comes at a time when FDC is in tatters after some party members alleged that Hon Nathan Nandala Mafabi brought dirty money to the party from President Yoweri Museveni during the 2021 presidential elections.
