I Slept In Banana Plantations Because Of Alex Ndawula — DS Thomas Tayebwa

1 Mins read

Deputy Speaker, Thomas Tayebwa has revealed that he used to sleep in banana plantations while listening to Alex Ndawula’s dance force on Capital FM

Tayebwa revealed this while eulogising the veteran radio presenter who died yesterday.

“Thank you for the good times DJ Alex. I remember those days I used to almost sleep in our banana plantation every Saturday night because it was the only spot where I could get @CapitalFMUganda to listen to Dance force in Bitereko. You brought Kampala close to us. RIP Legend,” reads the tweet from Tayebwa.

Ndawula died yesterday evening at Nsambya Hospital where he has been bedridden for some time.

Alex Ndawula had been at the helm of Capital FM for over 20 years until he retired in 2017.
