Parliament Suspends Tuesday Plenary Over Bombs

Uganda’s Parliament has called off Tuesday’s Plenary sitting over explosions in the capital, Kampala.

Adolf Mwesige, the Clerk to Parliament, on Tuesday issued a short statement confirming the development.

Two explosions were reported moments earlier, with reports of injuries but no death.

One of the bombs exploded a few meters from the Parliament building.
