Rt Hon Jacob Oulanyah is the speaker of the 11th parliament.
Oulanyah beat former Speaker Rebecca Kadaga to the country’s number three position at the house’s first sitting held at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.
Oulanyah garnered 310 votes against Kadaga’s 197 with Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda managing only 15.
