Gov’t Lines Up Monster SUVs As 11 Presidents Confirm They’ll Attend Inauguration In Person

The Government Citizens Interaction Centre boss, Mercella Karekya has revealed that 11 presidents will attend in person the swearing-in ceremony of President Yoweri Museveni next week.

“Clarification on attendance of Heads of States: An invitation was extended to 42 Heads of States and so far: 11 Heads of States are attending in person and about 10 will send high-power delegations. Confirmation messages are still coming in,” Karekye said.

On Tuesday, Esther Mbayo, the Minister of the Presidency had revealed that 42 Presidents had been invited and 22 had already confirmed they would attend.

“His Excellency the President @KagutaMuseveni has extended Invitations to 42 Heads of State both from Africa and the rest of the world, and so far 21 have confirmed attendance,” Mbayo said.

In other related news, government has prepared a fleet of SUV monster cars that will be used by the visiting Heads of State next week.

According to available COvID-19 protocols, all invited guests are expected to have a fresh COVID-19 certificate and follow the SOPs.
The National Organising Committee (NOC) for the swearing in ceremony has also indicated that guests will be seated with proper social distancing.
Museveni was declared winner with 58 percent of the poll, bouncing back to State House to add on his 35 years in office.
