National Unity Platform President, Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu famously known as Bobi Wine has been brutally arrested by Police an whisked away to a yet to be identified location.
Bobi Wine was arrested shortly after he was dully nominated to contest for the presidency in the 2021 general elections.
Before the arrest, Bobi Wine’s car was smashed and shuttered in the same style as Kizza Besigye’s in 2011 walk to work protests.
The was a scuffle between security officers and Bobi Wine’s security detail that saw Bobi Wine and other officials floored.
Bobi Wine, Joel Ssenyonyi and Allan Ssewanyana were seen on ground helplessly as the police picked Bobi Wine and dragged him into a van.
Bobi Wine was supposed to head to their Kamwokya based offices where he was expected to launch his manifesto.
