CASH BONANZA: FDC To Pay Nomination Fees for All It’s Candidates

The Forum for Democratic Change (FCD) has announced that the party will pay the nomination fees for its Parliamentary and Local Council flag bearers.

This comes ahead of the nomination date of Members of Parliament that is around the corner.

According to the Electoral Commission, the nomination of Presidential candidates has been set for 2nd and 3rd November while that of Members of Parliament will be on October 12th and 13th.

“This is to inform you that the party is paying nomination fees for all members of parliament,” The party Secretary General, Nathan Nandala Mafabi said in a statement that was issued on Monday.

He noted that for those aspirants who have already paid the nomination, they should present receipt for the refund.

“All Local Council nomination fees shall be refunded on compilation of all receipts by the district leadership,” said Mafabi.

Aspirants intending to contest for parliamentary seats will be expected to pay Shs3million.
