VIDEO: Four Storeyed Building Collapses In Makindye, Several Trapped

A four storeyed building under construction has collapsed in Kelezia zone, Makindye division.

The building collapsed last night.

A number of people are trapped under the rubble but rescue efforts are underway by a joint team of Police Fire and Rescue services and KCCA.

Uganda Police says the rescue is still on and so far one persons has been rescued.

“Rescue efforts still under way at a collapsed building in Kelezia zone, Makindye by a Joint team of our fire and rescue services and KCCA plus the local community. One person has so far been recovered,” reads a statement on Uganda Police official Facebook Page.
