NRM CEC To Convene Today

The NRM Central Executive Committee (CEC) will convene today at State House Entebbe.

According to Rogers Mulindwa the Senior manager for information, communication and Public relations NRM, the President who is also the National Chairman, H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is the convener.

He said Justine Kasule Lumumba, the party Secretary General will officially present all the Aspiring Candidates for the nine CEC positions to the members. 
“It will be an interactive meeting involving all the 40 Aspirants from two venues,”Mulindwa said in a statement. 

The 30 Aspirants who are not members of the current CEC said shall address the meeting through a video conference from the Party headquarters here in Kampala City.

Each Aspirant will be allocated time to address the meeting. Ten minutes for those aspiring for the position of the President and National Chairman and then the 1st National Vice Chairperson and 2nd National Vice Chairperson have 8 minutes each and 4 minutes for every Regional Vice Chairpersons.

“The National Treasurer, Hon Rose Namayanja Nsereko has this morning briefly addressed the aspirants seated at Plot 10 and called for maximum respect for each other throughout the electoral process,” Mulindwa said in the statement.
