Uganda won a record 15th CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup title after beating Eritrea 3-0 at StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo in Kampala.
Bright Anukani opening the scoring with a 31st-minute strike, before Mustafa Kizza improved the lead halfway into the second half. Joel Madondo sealed victory for the hosts one minute before the end of normal time of playing.
The Cranes won all their games, right from the group stage. Uganda, the hosts, had already beaten Eritrea 2-0 in the group stage of this competition.
