As the festive season draws closer, crime has become overly rampant and many people have actually lost their lives in the process.
Yesterday, at about 3PM, city thugs had a planned robbery in Kabowa near Kampala University but security officers got intelligence and tried to intercept them in their motor vehicles UBE 808F, Toyota WISH, UAN 368H Caldina black in colour.
However, the thugs refused to stop prompting a motor chase with the security team while on gun exchange.
Around Mutundwe hill, the thugs were cornered and shot dead recovering a star pistol no. 32002896 old model and motor vehicle UBE 808F WISH. The thugs have been identified as;
- Wandera Stephen of Mengo.
- Mayanja Lameka of Kabalagala.
- Mugalu Dick if Makindye
- Segirinya Ismail of unknown residence as yet.
All thugs were gunned down. However, no member of public was injured and or affected in any way.
