Nigerian superstar Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun commonly known as Wizkid will be performing live in a concert in Kampala on December 5, 2019 in a show that will take place at Kololo Airstrip.
Wizkid left many Ugandans yearning for more of his performance when he performed at the Cricket Oval in 2017, this time he is set to perform again at a vast venue as stated.
Wizkid has been on a tour performing in different countries such as Australia, London, Portugal, France and recently in Tanzania at Diamond Platinumz Wasafi Festival.
According to the organisers of the show, the Wizkid Live in Kampala Concert will also have performances from some of Ugandan artists.
“Wizkid is set to jet into the country a day before his concert and he will be live on stage on December 5th,” the organisers confirmed to Ug Mirror.
The show that is organized by ExW and presented by Pepsi will be the first International show to start December in high gear as we head to the end of the year 2019.
The singer confirmed his coming to Uganda when he said it was meant to be a surprise but he couldn’t hold it in any longer.
Using his social media platforms, the singer further expressed his happiness and love for the country.
“I can’t wait to come to Uganda, it’s one of my favourite countries in the world and always shows me so much love. I can’t wait to turn up with my beautiful fans on December 5th” Wizkid said.
He added: “I am excited to give my fans an amazing surprise concert. It’s going to be epic”
