CPC Delegation Meets President Museveni

The visiting delegation from the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Tuesday participated in a marathon activity that included a visit to the Source of River Nile in Jinja.

On the same day, the guests held a breakfast meeting with the Vice President H.E Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi before engaging in a business conference at Sheraton Hotel.

They also paid a visit to Butebe Village Party offices in Mukono District on their way to Jinja.

The visitors were entertained to traditional dances from the NRM grassroot members in Mukono.

Throughout their second day in Uganda, the guests were in company of the NRM

Deputy National Treasurer Dr. Kenneth Omona on behalf of the Secretariat.

The Leader of delegation and CPC Jilin Provincial Secretary, Hon. Buyin Chaolu said they are impressed with the level of hospitality accorded to them by both the hosting NRM Party.

He also commented on the beautiful vegetation.

“We shall promote Uganda’s beautiful story when we return home. We are touched by the great hospitality accorded,” said Buyin Chaolu at a dinner organised for them by NRM SG Lumumba at Serena Hotel on Monday evening.

The Chinese delegation from Jilin Province is here on an invitation extended to them by the NRM Secretary General Rt. Hon Justine Kasule Lumumba and they return home on Wednesday evening.

President Yoweri Museveni who is also the NRM National Chairman manged   meet the delegation led by Buyin Chaolu, a member of CPC’s Central Executive Committee, who is also chairperson of the ruling party in China’s Jilin Province at State Lodge Gulu.

The delegation which is in Uganda at the invitation of the NRM party was accompanied to Gulu on Wednesday 3rd April 2019 by Ambassador Crispus Kiyonga, NRM Secretary General Justine Kasule Lumumba, Deputy Secretary General Richard Todwong, NRM Treasurer Rose Namayanja and Deputy National Treasurer Dr Kenneth Omona.
