Quiin Abenakyo Graduates With Degree In Business Computing

Miss World Africa Quiin Abenakyo who doubles as Miss Uganda has combined beauty and brains which is not common in Uganda.

She has on Thursday joined other graduands and now has a bachelor’s degree in Business Computing from Makerere university Business School (MUBS)

This is the third day of Makerere university’s 69th graduation ceremony since Tuesday this week and will be concluded tomorrow, Friday 18th.

Abenakyo was among those who graduated today at Makerere University Main Campus

Abenakyo hails from Mayuge district in Eastern Uganda

Quiin Abenakyo is the first lady in the history of Uganda to win miss World Africa 2018 that took place in Sanya, China and she was able to make it to the top five in the World.

She was unveiled as the country’s Good will ambassador by Hon Godfrey Kiwanda Suubi, the State Minister for Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities.

Abenakyo is currently in a girl child campaign where she intends to empower girls fighting teenage pregnancies and keep girls in school.

Makerere University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe congratulated Abenakyo upon this milestone.

“It was a pleasure receiving Ms. Quiin Abenakyo, Miss World Africa who graduated with a Degree of Bachelor of Business Computing. I wish her all the best as she graciously represents Uganda and Africa in the World. Makerere is proud of you!,” tweeted Nawangwe.
