Singer Moses Ssali famously known by his stage name, Bebe Cool is set to get Shs250million as compensation for being shot by guards at Centenary Park in 2010.
This comes after government decided to compensate victims that had won cases against the government.
It should be remembered that on January 26, 2010 Bebe Cool and his bouncers Cobra and Iran were shot at by security guards as they tried to access the then Effendys bar through the Oasis Mall route.
They were rushed to Nsambya hospital for treatment.
Three days later President Museveni visited Bebe Cool in hospital and offered to pay his medical bills.
Bebe Cool was later airlifted to USA where he received further treatment.
It worth noting that, Bebe Cool spent two years without singing and this prompted him to ask government for compensation to a tune of Shs3billion.
The government however after analysing the bills and other expenses incurred, the settle with Shs250million.
