Retired Archbishop Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo is dead.

He has died at the age of 82.

He passed on today morning at Kampala Hospital where he had been admitted for some time.

This website understands that Archbishop Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo has been battling cancer of the oesophagus for years now.

It should also be remembered that he spent over six months in UK where he was undergoing treatment.

On a sad note, the retired Archbishop got stuck in London after the family could not pay hospital bills amounting to over Shs300million.

However the money was later raised from family and friends through different fundraising drives.

Upon return, things did not change much as he was in and out of hospital.
