It seems the times ahead for Opposition Icon Rtd. Col Dr Kizza Besigye are uncertain as he moves to add more security features on his famous land cruiser car.
Ever since Dr Kizza Besigye showed his interests to become the president of the Republic of Uganda, he has faced all kinds of brutality from Police officers hence vandalizing his car.
It should be membered that in April 2011, Police office identified as Arinaitwe Gilbert Bwana vandalised Besigye’s car using a hammer and a pistol at Kubili roundabout in Mulago.
Recently in Rukungiri, Besigye’s car was hit by a stray object hence causing damage.
It’s not yet clear if the cost of repairing has become too much to be handled by Besigye, all we can say is that his car has now been fitted with metal rods and a wire mesh.
It should be noted that since Besigye said that they will oust President Museveni by defiance, this might be one of the security steps taken before pushing defiance to the next level.
