Kitara Football Club has sealed a UGX 100 million shirt sponsorship deal with Kinyara Sugar Ltd, a partnership hailed as a significant step forward for the Hoima-based club.
The agreement comes after the expiration of Kitara’s previous Shs200 million, two-year sponsorship with Jonard Conglomerate Investment Limited (JCIL), signed in 2023.
As part of the new deal, Kinyara Sugar’s branding will feature on Kitara’s official match jerseys and training kits, enhancing the company’s visibility in both the Uganda Premier League and the Uganda Cup. The package also extends to stadium advertising rights, co-branded media engagements, and community-focused fan activation programs.
Kitara CEO Atugonza Joshua praised Kinyara for their sustained support since the 2023/24 season—a commitment he credited as a key factor in the club’s Stanbic Uganda Cup triumph.
“This partnership not only stabilizes our financial outlook but also strengthens ties with our fans and the broader community,” Atugonza said.
Kitara began their new season with a 1–1 draw against KCCA in Hoima, and will next take on Vipers SC this Saturday at Namboole Stadium.
