Comedian Maulana Kasozi was yesterday sent to Luzira Prison for failure to pay Shs10 million in child support.
He was arrested yesterday at Zone 7 in Natete where he has a second wife.
He was originally married to his wife Shubira Nalugya with three children he has been neglecting.
It is also worth noting that Kasozi’s wife Shubira Nalugya and the kids were facing eviction due to rent arrears.
Upon arrest, Kasozi was taken to Mwanga II court and charged with child neglect.
Magistrate Adams Byarugaba read him the charges and informed him how he has been on the wanted list for failing to honour court ruling of paying child support worth Shs10million annually.
