Museveni Tells MRM MPs to Make Amendments In The Anti-Homosexuality Bill Before He Nods To It

President Museveni has told National Resistance Movement MPs that they need to make some changes in the anti-homosexuality bill before he assents to it.

The president said this yesterday evening at the NRM parliamentary caucus meeting.

Prior to the meeting, Jackson Karugaba Kafuuzi, the deputy attorney general and member of parliament for Kyaka South County, had written to the president to “disassociate” the attorney general’s office from the bill and warn him not to sign it.
