Gov’t Scraps Off Certificate Of Good Conduct For Migrant Workers

The government of Uganda has scrapped off Interpol’s certificate of good conduct as a prerequisite for migrant workers to travel abroad.

 The certificate of good conduct will only be needed by migrant workers in security related jobs.

This was revealed in a letter by Hon Betty Amongi, the Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Development to Hon Maj Gen Kahiinda Otafiire, The Minister of Internal Affairs.
