The much anticipated COVID19 relief package is set to be rolled out starting today.
On Wednesday, the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development, confirmed that relief which has since been christened “Nabbanja money” in reference to Premier Robinah Nabbanja, will be sent beginning today.
When President Yoweri Museveni tightened lockdown restrictions to prevent the spread of COVID19, he promise government support to the vulnerable.
As a result, shs100k has been earmarked by government as the relief package for the vulnerable.
