The National Drug Authority (NDA) has finally authorized COVIDEX, a locally made herbal remedy as ‘supportive treatment’ for COVID-19 after days of back and forth engagements between the regulator and its developer, Prof Patrick Ogwang.
News of its approval will come as relief for many in the country that is battling a deadly second wave.
In the recent past, social media has been awash with testimonies of people who have used the medicine to treat COVID19.
