NRM MPs Want Gov’t To Prevail Over Medical Facilities Charging Exorbitant Fees

A group of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party MPs want government to address the issue of medical facilities charging exorbitant fares.

The MPs include; Lilian Aber,Kateshumbwa Dickson, Agnes Atim, Phiona Nyamutoro and Kimosho Dan.

They want government to prevail over the exorbitant COVID-19 treatment fees in health facilities.

Some health facilities are charging over 2-5 million shillings daily.

The actions by these facilities have enraged Ugandans.

Last week, the head of the State House Anti-corruption Unit, Col Edith Nakalema revealed that the facilities would face a probe for their actions.
