A group of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party MPs want government to address the issue of medical facilities charging exorbitant fares.
The MPs include; Lilian Aber,Kateshumbwa Dickson, Agnes Atim, Phiona Nyamutoro and Kimosho Dan.
They want government to prevail over the exorbitant COVID-19 treatment fees in health facilities.
Some health facilities are charging over 2-5 million shillings daily.
The actions by these facilities have enraged Ugandans.
Last week, the head of the State House Anti-corruption Unit, Col Edith Nakalema revealed that the facilities would face a probe for their actions.
