Ministers Anite, Babalanda Miss Swearing-in Over COVID19

Evelyn Anite, the minister of state for finance, planning and investment has revealed why she missed the swearing-in ceremony of the new government.

Ministers are being sworn in at a function now umderway at Kololo Independence Grounds.

“Dear friends, as you are all aware that I went through vetting,did my Covid19 test got a negative,I’m fully vaccinted,” Anite tweeted.

She added, “However one of my support staff tested positive with covid19 for that reason I shall not be swearing in today.I wish all my colleagues swearing today best of luck.”

Milly Babalanda, the minister for the presidency is also among those who are not going to swear-in today due to similar reasons.
