President Yoweri Museveni will today evening address the nation on the COVID19 situation.
“Fellow Countrymen, Countrywomen, Bazukulu, I will address the country TODAY at 8:00pm on a number of issues but mostly the COVID-19 situation. I call upon you to tune in to the different radio & TV stations for this address,” Museveni says in a tweet.
There is growing speculation that the president is set to impose a total lockdown to control the spread of COVID19 as the country battles a devastating second wave.
Two weeks ago, he imposed a partial lockdown, closing schools and suspending inter-district movements. He also banned gatherings.
