The Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda has pledged to support the medical trials of Professor Ogwang Engweu.
Ogwang’s COVID-19 therapy, COVIDEX, has been trending online with many describing it as one that has healing powers for the deadly pandemic.
PSU’s statement issued on Mondag says the society has decided to set up a task force to render support to Professor Ogwang and work with the National Drug Authority (NDA) on the modalities to approve the remedy.
NDA has previously approved medicines produced by Professor Engweu.
