The Buganda Kingdom Premier has revealed that Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II is affected by an “allergic reaction.”
Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga made the revelation on Friday in a televised address meant to calm nerves following speculation about the King’s health.
Kabaka Mutebi’s health has been a subject of debate following his first public appearance in many months on his 66yh birthday early this week.
In the video clips and photos taken on his birthday, Kabaka Mutebi appeared frail.
However, Mayiga did not reveal the cause of the allergic reaction but revealed that top class physicians were attending to the king and that he will be well soon.
On Friday, Kabaka Mutebi and Queen Sylvia Nagginda became the latest public figures to take the COVID19 jabs.
