SFC Boss Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba Vaccinated

Special Forces Command (SFC) boss, Lt General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has become the latest public figure to take the COVID19 jab.

Muhoozi took the jab on Tuesday morning and was followed by other officers in the army unit charged with protecting the president and national assets.

“Today, it was my pleasure to open the covid-19 vaccination campaign within SFC by taking my first shot of AstraZeneca vaccine. I thank H.E. @kagutamuseveni, the Ministry of Health and our development partners for the quick acquisition and roll out of this vaccine. MK,” Gen Muhoozi tweeted after the jab.

Last Wednesday, the country launched the vaccination program with the Health Minister, Dr Jane Ruth Aceng leading the way, becoming the first public official to be vaccinated.

Vaccination is ongoing across the country.
