Minister of Trade and cooperatives, Hon Amelia Kyambadde is shedding tears after she was defeated by Singer Hillary Kiyaga who is famously known as Hilderman.
Amelia was standing on the NRM ticket while Hilderman had the National Unity Platform flag.
It is worth noting that last year Dr. Hilderman took to his social media platforms revealing how he was receiving calls from his opponent trying to convince him to trade his political values.
“Stop calling me; use the Shs700million offer to empower Mawokotanians. I am not for sale Nyabo, Mujooga #sentemuziryeekyokolamukimanyi,” Dr Hilderman said in a post on Faacebook
It should be noted that in the previous elections, singer Hilderman composed a song titled ‘Amelia’ and the minister was using it to canvas for votes in Mawokota North.
